Categories include:
1. Excellence Award - overall excellence in family law.
2. Rising star Award - a family law practitioner who is 35 or under or if over 35 has been in practice for 5 years of less.
3. Innovation Award - a family lawyer who thinks differently, is a gamechanger and has led change in the area of family law.
4. Purpose Award - a family lawyer with a special story about WHY they do what they do and how this purpose has shaped the way they practice family law on a practical level.
5. Social Justice Award - a family lawyer who is committed to social justice, access to justice and improving and redressing inequity in family law.
6. Client Care Award - for the family lawyer who is known for their special approach to caring for clients.
7. Colleague Award - for a family lawyer who has given back to their colleagues. Through mentoring or sharing knowledge. Or they may have contributed in some other way that betters the lives of their colleagues for example through initiatives to improve wellness in family law, the way family lawyers treat each other, or even diversity and inclusion.

CONTEXT
The Awards are based on the Inside Family Law Book and Podcast, which has over 12,000 downloads and has hosted Judges, lawyers, barristers and other experts in the area.
Similar to how the podcast gives listeners access to interviewees in a conversational style and demystifies family law, our Awards also seek to connect everyone with the stories of all nominees.
These are special Awards for family lawyers only. We seek to have no smoke and mirrors with voting open to all.
We think awards should be transparent, meaningful, fun, warm and about sharing the stories of nominees. We understand your passion for what you do and want to provide a platform for you to share this.
ABOUT
The Inside Family Law Awards showcase the achievements of family lawyers.
Nominations are now open for the Inside Family Law Awards. We are lucky to have The Honourable Peter Rose AM KC, Lara Wentworth, Tijana Petkovic and Katrene Halteh as our esteemed Judges.
All finalists will form part of a short video that I will create to highlight their achievements and stories.
